I always prefer to buy bakery stuff like cake, bread, pastries etc from branded bakeries having some franchise from a popular brand. So this time I went to French Loaf, Electronic City.
How it all started
As in my company we have day to day celebrations for someone's farewell or birthdays and we usually bring cakes from Just bake but this time we thought of some change and ordered from The French Loaf, electronic city.
Despite of having some bad reviews online I thought of giving it a chance as previously I also went there and loved the things they served.
What We ordered
A lot many variety of cakes were there but due to some budget constraints we finalized Black Forest.
About the Black Forest
The bread used as a base was soft as cotton and no compromise was done in the adding cream to the cake. Chocolate chips added to the cake made it just yum. The cream was sweet and fresh. Cherry was just like icing on the cake. Overall it was simple but well presented.
Ambiance and location
As I was in a hurry was not able to click any picture. Ambiance was fine enough to go with few friends and to have cake, pastries, sweet rolls , paties and other bakery stuff. A sitting capacity of around 10 people is there. Many people were coming and going.
Staff and Service
The only complaint is with the staff service. They were not well aware of the products they have and the worst part is they had no guy to deliver the cake at the time I requested for delivery. I have to call them at least 5 times to get my cake delivered. So if you want to have anything at french loaf outlet then its good else you have to take a margin of 30 to 60 minutes. Don’t rely on the delivery.
Service is poor and the delivery guy don’t understand English or Hindi.
