Barbeque Nation, one of the most renowned name in the field of restaurants serving barbequed cuisines. Nothing much excites me about Barbeque nation except its exceptional customer service they give when you visit there. This time I was lucky enough to attend a birthday treat of my friend at Barbeque nation, JP nagar.
A small piece of advice ;)
As table was already booked, we reached there on time and got the table within 5 minutes else if we didn’t book it then there was a waiting of 45 minutes because it was fully packed on that day. When we sat there I realized that " as we came on a week day, there is no space to sit what if a person coming on weekend without reservation ;) "
In short just wanted to say never go to Barbeque nation, JP nagar without prior reservation.
What we had there.
The staff there greeted us very well and served the complimentary b’day cake. They also sang song for my friend, thus making the moment more special.After this came the turn of starters. A huge variety of Barbeque starter and non-Barbeque was there. The menu of starters is as follows.
Many other variety of starters were there which are not mentioned in the menu. As soon as we finished with the cake, appetizer arrived. We started with canjun spice potato which was nothing but potato dipped in mayonnaise and then flood of appetizers came They served Paneer tikka which was hot and crispy then came the caramel pineapple. Kebabs were wonderfully seasoned and cooked to perfection.Golden fried corns were delicious, we asked to serve it again.
Servers then came with the Barbeque starters which includes Barbecued pineapple, overloaded mushroom on the seekh and bhuna tarari seekh vegetable. We left them for sometime over the barbeque to get it grill and till then we moved to live counters.
The live counter includes fried rice and noodle which were not up to my expectation as the chef accidentally added salt higher then the optimal level which made it flavor worst but when we came back to our table the BBQ starters were ready. The starters were exotic and crispy. Baked over the coal, made them lovable especially the baked corns with a little crisp.
Now came the main course. After eating all the stuff, we hardy had any space in our stomach. A huge variety of main course were there. I took paneer butter masala gravy, black dal, veg biryani, some salads and a grilled chicken. I was blown away by the food, especially dal makhani, paneer and chicken platter. Dal was excellent, slow cooked, creamy, delicious and not overly spicy. Paneer was one of the freshest I’ve ever had, Biryani was not impressive, it was not layered as claimed on their menu.
Now the best part of our meal. I had spotted an interesting dessert. I started with Gulab jamun which were delicious and slowly started moving from hot to cold desserts. Then I took some pastries and kheer firney. In the end took my personal favorite Chocoloate Kulfi with some addons added to it. The Chocolate kufi was looking exquisite and delectable. Loved It.
Staff & service
Service is excellent here and servers are very polite. Our server got us a tab and explained about the special menu . He mentioned about the special Beverages which we can order as an add-on to the regular buffet menu.

Ambience and Location
Barbeque nation, JP nagar is located just 2 kilometer away from central silk board and is at a easily approachable location. They are having some car parking issues but valet guy will be available to park the car on your behalf. Ambience is quite fine and neat and if you are going with group of friends then you will get enough time to chit chat there without anyone's disturbance.
