Sai Vishram hotel restaurant bangalore - Time traveller(E Inn) Review

Sai Vishram as the name suggest, a place where person can take rest under the eyes of God. Recently I got an opportunity to visit Time Traveller (which is also known as E inn) in Electronic City with some of my friends to have a lunch, its review is as follows.

Sai Vishram is a Hotel located near to Electronic City whose restaurant name is Time Traveller. Its restaurant is famous for its buffet lunch, dinner and the variety of food they serve. We reached there at 12.30 PM and the restaurant was completely packed at that time.

Some point to keep in mind before going to Time Traveller(E Inn) or Urban Herbivore

• If you are planning for lunch or dinner in Time Traveller or Urban Herbivore restaurant in Sai Vishram hotel and you live in central, west or east Bangalore then please don’t plan as this place is mainly for the professionals working in  nearby companies in electronic city, generally these people come here for lunch or dinner with there teams so this place is bit crowded
  
• If you love non-vegetarian food and searching for unlimited chicken or lamp here then you are definitely wrong. Even if they provide buffet lunch or dinner but no non vegetarian dish is served in the buffet. Its a complete vegetarian hotel as its name suggest.

How it started

As already mentioned above, When we reached there the placed was completely occupied with hell lot of people and generally people from IT companies were there on a team lunch. We were told to wait for a while till our name was called.

What we had.

Initially when we sat there welcome drink(Green apple flavor) was served and then Tomato soup with spinach in it came in. The drink and soup were of ok types only, so don’t make your expectation based on those.

Then came the starters in which Honey chilly potato and hara bhara kebabs, those were awesome and we requested for some more. After the starters we started expecting all yummy and tasty dishes in main course.

 

 

The main course menu was as follows :

But we had paneer chatpata and dal tadka mainly.

Other things like salad which were of 5 types and main course snacks like soya ginger noodles and cashewnut fried rice were awesome.

Now come the desserts, Eight types of desserts were there which is not expected from a buffet which is charging just Rs 425 with taxes. I tasted ice cream, black forest pastries and pomegranate cream. Loved the desserts.

 

  


Cost of buffet including taxes was Rs 425.

My Opinion Sai Vishram hotel restaurant Bangalore

In my opinion if you are searching for a cheap and best option for vegetarian food near to electronic city then Sai Vishram E inn or Time Traveller restaurant can be considered in your options

About the ambiance and service 

Ambience was similar to 4 star hotel with wooden chairs and tables. The table mats were clean and air conditioning was set as to make the atmosphere around pleasant. Staff was courteous. Even though many people were there in the restaurant, they managed it very well. All starters, drinks, soups and indian breads were served on the table on time without a little bit of delay. Even the used plates were immediately taken off from the table without even asking the waiters.
