Searching some place where you can relax after office and can take some Quick Bite and chats than definitely head it here. Laddoos is a chain of food joints in Bangalore where you can get hygienic street food that to at a very nominal rates.
I love going to Laddoos electronic city when I am in the mood of having something chat-patta after my office hours. Actually it is a nice place to hangout with friends if you are feeling bored with your regular routine.
What we had there
They serve a variety of street food from golgappa to samosa chat, from Raj kachori to different types of veg thali. They also serve variety of sweets like laddoos(As their brand name suggest), burfi, gulab jamun etc. I went after my office hours with my friends, this time we ordered for dhokla, samosa , chole bhature and Raj kachori. As only self service option is there , you only need to go to different counters to get your food. All process from placing order to getting thing on our table took only 15 minutes.
We had Dhokla in the beginning and you know what we came to know from the guy on the counter that Dhokla is one of the most sold eatable there and it is damn delicious. It was served with topping of green and red sauce which you only need to get from the other counter and that makes its taste lovable. It was soft and juicy.
Then we had Raj kachori which was well decorated, initially we found it is less filled with curd so we asked for some more but after pouring more curd it was looking and smelling awesome. It was stuffed with hot chole, potato, pappdi and dry fruits and other chutnies . My friends ordered samosa instead of Raj kachori, they were hot and crispy and served with Green and red chutney.
Finally came the Chole bhature which were having a perfect balance of North and South. They were neither too oily nor too spicy.
Ambiance and Location
It’s a neat and tidy place for snacks located in the heart of electronic city, near velankani. If you are coming in a car you may find some trouble finding the parking as the place is generally crowded. Ambiance is tidy and sweets are showcased in the starting only but you cannot expect anything like a 3 star restaurant, its more like a sweet and savory shop.
Staff and service
Staff is polite and the guy on the billing counter was patient enough to listen our doubts as we were asking lot of questions about the food and drinks before ordering. Service was quick, we got what we ordered within 15 minutes. Nothing much in favor and nothing against. OK types.
